Trent Batson’s eportfolio and the Assessment Conference at IUPUI Oct 29-30, 2012

I am trying a new process to prepare for the session I will co-lead in Oct at IUPUI. Usually, I would try to crystallize what I know about a topic and then let the audience use my summing up work for their benefit. But, is that the best approach? Maybe too didactic?

This new process is to track the process with artifacts — videos, voice memos, photos, text — as I prepare for the session. My theory is this will show the folio thinking process as it happened. The danger is this process might seem egocentric: therefore, it has to be not about me, but about the process.
